The Limpy Creek Forest School is a licensed nature-based preschool program serving children ages 3-5 years.

 

We host year-round place-based education exploring themes that emerge from the current season and the landscape around us.

Our Mission

The Limpy Creek Forest School offers children access to nature and learning through diverse experiences outdoors. This type of outdoor learning facilitates a lifelong connection between the child and the natural landscape.

Our program is play-based and we offer children opportunities to freely create and learn in a natural forest setting.

Our teaching approach is focused on exploring nature, while promoting language and literacy, & engaging in earth science.

At Forest School we promote every child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
